First Day of Uni

Only had two hours of uni today
2-4pm
Not particularly excited or motivated to learn
But I wanna get a HD average =D
Like thats going to happen after the biophysics lecture which made no sense
So after spending 2 hours at uni
I spent 1.5 hours getting home (spent about 30 mins of that time waiting for late buses)

Melbourne public transport sucks
Nothing is ever on time
I will buy a lottery ticket if all 3 of my buses come on time both to and from uni

Also saw this on the bus
If you look carefully enough you'll see the random broom wedged next to the window
WTF is the broom doing there?????

Anyways last Friday night I went and watched Toy Story 3 for free
Outside
At night
With K仔
It was pretty awesome
Except we got bitten alive by mozzies

The sunset was really nice that night
The sky was all pink

Uni

Uni starts tomorrow
Pretty nervous
Not prepared at all
I've enjoyed by 3.5 months of holidays
Hopefully with a bit more routine back in my life
I'll churn out more regular posts
And more pictures since I'm not stuck at home all day

I know I haven't posted in a while...AGAIN!
So since valentines day what has happened?
I went to Suzuki Night Market with K仔 and then later met up with some friends.
The night market was a surprise "present" for  K仔,
I know that sounds a little WHAT THE but it makes sense to us.

Last thursday I had my biomedical science orientation
It was pretty good
Very tiring since it was 9-5
But I got to meet some people and it was cool

Saturday was K仔 birthday.
But before I saw him I went out to yum cha in Docklands with family friends.
And then I went to Costco
Costco is pretty amazing
They seriously sell EVERYTHING
If you think Aldi sells everything, go to Costco.
Then I went down to watch K仔 ref bball and then watch his game.
Which they won.
Went out for dinner.
And went to Ezycafe (I think that's how you spell it) but it is this awesome drink place, don't tell anyone about it =P

Washed the car on Sunday and the hose broke in my face and I got soaked, it was not cool.

Played bball with friends on Monday.
And then played frisbee and vortex inside the stadium.

Which brings me to today.
Orientation for commerce
And I'm completely wasted.
And I woke up extremely sore from bball, like every muscle aches =.="
More orientation tomorrow.
More early mornings.
More bus rides.
Takes me over an hour to get to uni and then the same amount of time back.
Which means at least 2.5 hours of time spent on buses each day.
Not looking forward to uni starting next week.

Valentines

Day was yesterday
So what did I do?
I spent some quality time with my awesome friends
And we played basketball together
I still don't particularly like basketball.
Although it's K仔's sport
Just not the sport for me
After a few hours of mucking around we were knackered
So we went to get some lunch
At the local Japanese place
After lunch everyone went home
And I spent the rest of the arvo with K仔
We finally watched Despicable Me
Well only half of it as I had to go home

Took this the day before Valentines Day
It was really pink except my camera is incapable of capturing the true colours

I think I would die in a natural disaster

especially if it hit during the night
because I would be totally oblivious
like last night, it was raining cats and dogs
and I had no clue
until the morning
when it was super dooper loud
and I thought I might have left my laptop on
and the fan was going crazy because my laptop gets really hot
and I was sleeping right next to it
but I remembered I turned it off before I went to bed
then I realised it was the rain
and dozed off the next second
until my brother ran in going COME SEE!!! the backyard is flooded
except I still just fell back asleep

Monastery

Mum took me to go help out at the Buddhist monastery today. She goes once every couple of weeks to help make these fruit towers. They look pretty cool and today I learnt that they are actually quite hard to make. They require a lot of patience and persistence. Helped make 1 and a half apple towers and a banana one. I only took a picture of the banana one because it looked pretty epic.

Can't remember how long that took to make. I think an hour or so with 4 people.

Back to make some more tomorrow.
